  | INSIDEOUT LITERARY ARTS PROJECT, DETROIT: InsideOut produces small anthologies of student art and writing for Detroit Public School children k-12. As lead graphic designer, I oversaw the design and production of all 30+ anthologies for the 2008-2009 school year. I also designed many of the books in total or in part. CELLAR ROOTS, ARTS AND LITERATURE JOURNAL OF EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY: I had the privilege of serving on the Cellar Roots staff for three consecutive academic years. From 2003-2004 as graphic designer on vol. 33, from 2004-2005 as Editor-in-Chief of vol. 34, and from 2005-2006 as Alumni Graphic Designer for vol. 35. The Cellar Roots Anthology is an award-winning publication with a history of pushing material boundaries. With the books that I designed, I made a concerted effort to break from the obvious theme of organic material which had dominated past issues. |
